Build your own Cloud/Home security system for only 60$

As always, multi-mania was awesome. Great speakers, great sessions and lot of time to network with all kinds of people. From Designer to Developer to whatever.

Like the last 4 years, Dieter and I did a session. This year we did a session that combines pretty much everything together:

  • Windows Phone
  • Windows 8
  • Azure
  • and a microcontroller

If you coudn’t make it, here is a link to our slides.

Thanks Koen en Els for having us.

Slides and demo on my Media Queries Live session @ Microsoft

So here are my slides and demos from my Live session at Microsoft. Hope you found it interesting and may it be useful in your web applications.

For those who didn’t follow the session. We changed the existing ASP.NET MVC Music Store site, so that it would be available on a mobile phone as well.

Building Desktop Applications with Silverlight

As promised, here is a link to the code and the slides of our BESUG session last evening @combell.

I hope you had a good time and found some inspiration to start developing your own desktop applications with Silverlight.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send a mail.

I also hope that I can welcome you for our next session at community day where we will talk about the new features of the Windows Phone 7 mango update.

I also want to thank combell for the location, food and drinks and off course the amazing T-shirts. I know a lot of people who want to have a shirt like this one.

Windows Phone session on Community Day

MIC3073_logo2011jubilee_vecto

Since 5 years, Belgian user groups put their brains together to offer you a free event where developers and ip pro’s can network and share knowledge.

BESUG is one of the many user groups who will deliver a session and answer on all your silverlight and or windows phone question.

This is a the summary of our session:

What’s new in Windows Phone 7 Mango update

Last year, the BESUG session offered an overview of the possibilities to develop applications for Windows Phone 7 using Silverlight. This year, we will focus on the improvements of the Mango release including the use of sensors, the new emulator, performance, application lifecycle, XNA integration and much more. During the session, we will build an application that demonstrates all these features.

Because Frederik and I had a fight about who would deliver this session, we decided to do it together.

So, I hope that we can meet and have a chat.
